Their fans didn't end up turning a purchased player who was also an idiot and a thief, into a deity they worshiped so maybe they got lucky not having the quick cash I guess but that's good enough for me.

I'm just never going to think it's cool to cheat at a game. I don't care if it's playing poker or football or tiddlywinks, it just takes the fun out of the game and turns it into something shitty.

You don't think Arkansas cheats like every other big-time program?

Interesting.

I do not think we actively attempt to purchase recruits, no. Do some boosters slip them a 100 or buy them dinner or whatever? Probably.

So, you do...

Buying a player dinner is buying a player, or attempting to get in their good graces.

Yes, dinner and 100 bucks from a random booster after they are on campus is exactly the same as the staff, etc. paying someone's preacher father 180k for them to come to campus.

You sound salty. I admit Auburn cheats because I am realistic. I also realize it goes on everywhere, some places more than others. You, on the other hand, think Arkansas is clean for the most part.

Then again, maybe that's why they suck.

True, there somehow was never any proof so it remains alleged.

Auburn "used" to cheat. Not sure it is happening nowadays.

eta: the stigma follows you well after you play it straight.

the accusations and the testimony UNDER IMMUNITY of student 39 is highly suspect and under scrutiny as we speak. Ole Miss has requested that he be present when they go before the committee on infractions, in order to force him to lie publically, and also to set the narrative that the NCAA colluded with players that did not sign with Ole Miss as a way to strengthen their case against Ole Miss. There are tape recordings of student 39s mother admitting that other schools paid for his services, and her asking Ole Miss to match...look, I understand the elation of SEC foes at seeing their conference brother burn, but outsiders looking in can easily see that Ole Miss is getting railroaded.

That Trans Am was a mighty wise investment by Don Leebern into Herschel Walker back in the day.

which is the only thing the NCAA has proven against ole miss. the only allegation involving ole miss paying a player for his signature is student 39...which I addressed a few comments up.
