-LSU had 5+ mins and two timeouts to go 69 yds and still didnt have enough time to score (teams have driven 70+ yds in less than a minute with no TOs in the past).

-Taking a delay of game, then taking a TO right after the penalty

-Putting JJ in the game with everybody in the world knowing he's about to run

-Putting JJ in the game with everybody in the world knowing he's about to run without a second play ready for when he got stopped

-Trying mass substitutions with less than 20 seconds on the clock

-Miles "just another day in the SEC" comment

Letting JJ get out on the field in the first place.

good call to use the TO after, it changes the distance dramatically and you need to get that play right, which we did

we got there in time, so i was okay with that. i think the game plan was to use the entire clock up tbh.

I was thinking jump pass or QB screen tbh, i had NO doubt in me that it was a trick play..

i coulda hit a child..

The saddest part is a fan base trying to run off a good man, damn good coach who turned down his dream job, and delivered a national championship.

Les Miles is a proven winner, his successor may not have the same success.

The delay of game was stupid, however the timeout after it wasnt. They wanted to probly get a different play and talk it over. If their hadnt been the delay, there wouldve been no need for the timeout, but after it there was if that makes any sense. Situation was different resulting in the need for a timeout.

This wound up winning the game for us in all reality. WIthout it Tenn probly wouldnt have sub resultin in the 13 men on the field.

Well it is for him and us LSU

This is definately the saddest, cause all reality was he wasnt getting in!

i'd bet his successor could average 9 wins a season easy. whoever it is. i think miles is gonna keep doing what he can to right the ship.. and it'll happen, but slowly as we've seen

Who would want to coach at a school that deems a 9 win season a down year and has the expectations that anything less then a MNC is a failure?

lots of people. and it has more to do with him being a complete moron that people want him out.

i wish we actually had a brain surgeon in here who could tell us if miles brain surgery has actually affected his thinking ability. cause if so he should be fired...but at least then i could feel bad for him.

When the rest of the SEC is your coach's greatest fans, you know somethings wrong and its time for possible change!

Saddest?

Try an interception in the end zone, a fumble in the red zone, and a coach in the twilight zone...

Name them, not a fan's wish list, but a list of people who have actually inquired about the possibility of being head coach.

Every coach has had their gaffs, Miles' has cost him one game last year. He can chock it up to experience, lean from his mistakes, and do better next time.

Saban was looking to return to college, the NFL was above his skill set as it is with most great college coaches.

Which NFL head coach is currently looking to jump back to the college ranks?

The saddest part is he fixed the Defense 2 years ago and failed to bring in a new offensive coordinator last year and this has hurt LSU in the worst way.

He can make good decisions, he just has to put forth the effort and make them.

That is the deal, its is a coordinator problem not a head coaching problem. It can easily be fixed this off season, a MNC has earned him the right for a new Offensive coordinator and time to "right the ship".

I doubt anybody here has direct lines to those NFL coaches. Some names have been tossed out but no i haven't directly spoken to them. But I think the job would get filled if it opened up.
