Track & Field
Wrestling
Tennis
Gymnastics
Swimming & Diving
Volleyball

Considering SEC teams may sweep the entire list this year, which would be the most important?

Top 5 IMO:

1. Volleyball
2. Wrestling
3. Tennis
4. Swimming & Diving
5. Gymnastics

1. Track and Field- because LSU has 31 titles

2. gymnastics- because LSU has a great shot at winning a natty this season

There are some great athletes in these sports, but I can't really get into sports where wins are awarded entirely by judges.

Tennis. Only sport worth watching when Olympics aren't in session

Of that list, T&F. But cross country is a lot tougher.

Only sport on the list capable of producing a consistent revenue for more than a couple of SEC schools. So I'll go with that.

From the 1982-83 season to the 2005-06 season, the Razorbacks won 42 of the 72 National Championships they competed in.

The 12 straight indoor titles are the most consecutive championships won by any team in any sport in Division I history.

The incredible lack of parity is exactly why T&F is so irrelevant.

Nah. That just means a lot of schools are putting in piss poor efforts. Arkansas, LSU, A&M, and Florida have all been outstanding at T&F over the last decade. Tennessee has a couple of NC's since '91, and USC has a women's NC. The rest of you goobers just need to keep up. The SEC should win every stinkin' year, what with all the fast guys/girls that we produce.

FWIW I was shocked when A&M joined the SEC to learn that gymnastics was a thing. I'd never heard of college gymnastics. And now that I know better I still won't watch.

They are all great sports so to each his own. You all would be doing yourselves a favor if you watched each of these in person just once before you judge.

Gymnastics is the same. Florida in 2013 and Oklahoma in 2014 are only the 5th and 6th schools to win a title after Utah, Georgia, Alabama, and UCLA.

If I was ranking it for UF of what is important right now, I would definitely put volleyball as the highest simply because we've won titles in all of the others and volleyball has been elusive to us. Mary Wise has gone to 7 Final Fours and has a winning percentage of over 90%, she deserves a title before she hangs it up.
