Once again LSU rides hype and potential in to the preseason rankings getting the hopes up for a fanbase who needs something positive to focus on in their lives right now.

As usual, LSU has an easy manageable schedule until late October with the only test being a game at Florida against a team who will finish 3rd in the east followed by a exhibition against a Southern Miss team before hitting the only tough part of the schedule with OM, a bye week, Bama at home, then @ Arkansas.

While the OM loss will be seen a "that's Les" moment, all hope will not be lost, the Bama loss is again expected and "hey, we've won it all with two losses before", so will it be the third straight loss to Arkansas putting LSU out of contention for a play off spot that finally sends the admins sprinting to the servers with fans and fire extinguishers?

On the positive side, the following week Thuderbird can have a feel good moment in Tiger Stadium as he watches his cousin hand out towels and water bottles to the RBs seeing action in the game for South Alabama.

Then the season can again end with a huge victory for LSU over their bitter rivals aggy on the day they most wanted to play and whined to the SEC office about it, Thanksgiving, in front of all the eyes of Texas who are not watching the Longhorns or Cowboys play which will again lead to an off-season of hype and potential for next year, the circle of life continues.

We'll worry about that when Baylor is actually relevant

I think the opening loss is probable.

11AM on a weekend and all you can think about is LSU. Nice write up there, sport. Can assure you nobody reads it.

You tried to hard. I am laughing at Baylor though

The love fest with LSU on this board is quite entertaining.

Once again Arkansas rides zero hype or potential into the season so they start troll threads to deflect away from that fact.

I don't know. But my very accurate mid season prediction last year caused them to short circuit. It's funny how good everyone thought they were last year until they weren't. Marbles will be lost

Impossible, the only reason they lose to Arkansas is the Bama loss the week before

There will certainly be stress fractures if this occurs. Fortunately, this isn't going to happen, and if it ever did, they could fall back on "the game was at Lambeau"

Thanksgiving would end all especially if both teams are undefeated heading into that game - which I believe could be possible.

It's pretty easy to see they're a 3 or 4 loss team just like last year. I made the thread last year called November is Coming. It was pretty much spot on.

November is Coming.
