40 seasons have passed since a team other than Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee won the SEC. This year it'll probably become 41 seasons, but which "little 8" team has got the best shot to end the streak this year?

This year?
I mean, I'd say there's a 1% chance aTm wins the SEC. so them.
Maybe if Kentucky wins the east and doesn't have to play Alabama in the championship game.

I don't count Kentucky's SEC title, since they had to share it with Georgia.

I'll be the one to say it. Moo State. If Fitz gets even better this year, they will be a tough team to contend with.
Plus, their coach single handedly conspired and took down Ole Miss. they will be on a high all year.

We need a Big 6 board.

The answer to this is always A&M because of the talent, even if they never play up to it.

Three is a big 2. Alabama and Kentucky
Now back to your nonsensical programming.

I would pick Miss State if they were in the East.
I think it has to come from the East because I don't see TAMU, Arkansas, or Mississippi State having the firepower to beat Alabama. Also, Auburn is poised to have a good year, and I think LSU will be good also.
In the East the Big 6 teams have more question marks. Georgia has an inexperienced head coach and offensive line and the worst OC in the conference. Tennessee has to replace several playmakers and has an OC who has never called a game. Florida has question marks are QB and has to replace a lot on defense.
I don't think Vandy or Mizzou has the talent to make it this year. Between UK and SCAR, I'll say South Carolina because I like their QB better than Kentucky's, and they get Kentucky at home.

Maybe once. Even that almighty Prescott team, which was very good, would have had a fight to win the East. Georgia was awesome that year on the right day.
Moo State would not have won in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016...

State lost to Georgia in 2011
2012 Georgia>2012 State
2013 State got blown out by he #2 east team (usce)
2014 Good chance there
2015 lost to Ole Miss who got pounded by Florida
2016 State lost to South Alabama
You may have won once (2014)
