Where would MS State have finished in the ACC in 2014? Over or under 5th best???

I say UNDER

We already know that they didn't even belong on the same field as the mighty GA Tech Yellow Jackets

We can bump them under FSU, Clemson and Louisville for sure

That puts them at 5th best in the ACC AT THE VERY BEST

I would place them somewhere between 7th and 9th - grouping them in with UNC, Pitt, Duke and Boston College.

Not that VA Tech, Miami and NC State wouldn't have given the Cowbells a run for their money...

Thoughts?

downvote all you want

MSU was ranked #1 in the country for a minute in 2014 - they were happy to let everyone know that UGA would be the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC West.

Yet at the end of the day, they were no better than 6th best in the weakest conference in NCAA football - kind of ironic really...

I believe the red dawgs also lost to the jackets, and did so in their own house. Where would they have stacked up in the ACC?

I already addressed this, I know they beat us.

They won their "once every 8 or 10 years" in a closely contested game that we probably let slip away. UGA had opportunities to beat GA Tech last year.

MS State on the other hand, got their shite pushed in in the biggest bowl game they had been in in at least 40 years. It was never even close, y'all were outclassed from the 1st snap of the game

No comparrison really

Well...we were in complete disarray on defense and had no coordinator for the game. You lost at home. GT was a great team last year and should have beaten FSU, almost did.

Our QB had over 500 yards of offense by himself. We didn't have a DC and our defense looked like hot shite the last two games of the season.

You're a moron.

No argument there. Just pointing out that the last few games were very deflating. Combine that with an absent DC, it's a recipe for disaster. And GT played well, not taking anything away from them.

I have to disagree. Ga Tech and Navy have the least entertaining offenses in college football.

it may not be entertaining to some, but it was pretty badass last year.

gt 4789 1882 993 6671 6.72 476.5
rush pas plays total avgperply/game
om 2021 3427 904 5448 6.03 419.1

especially for a running team.

Yeah Thomas made us look like a fool. It didn't help that we lost our DCoordinator for the game, yeah of all teams, to play Ga Tech, which requires assignment football. Fwiw, I bet Ga Tech wins the ACC this year.
