Half are still in Anger.

The other half are in Bargaining.

Bargaining

"Maybe if Saban drops 50 on us it will be enough to fire him."

This is the correct answer.

All over. Some are still in shock at the stupidity of the 0 hire and the $12 million buyout. Some are angry. And other have accepted that we will be a dumpster fire (even worse thanTAM) for at least 3 years.

I only accept the original 5 stages. I'm old-school. The other two are just latter-day hippies futzing around with a list of the perfect length. Five was good enough for one 10 commandments tablet, it's good enough for the stages of grief.

The overall fan base? Probably Bargaining.

This fan? Acceptance.

My wife:

“I hope we lose to Troy so they can see how bad this is”

:losestotroy:

“I didn’t think it would actually happen! I am pissed!”

There's 7 stages??
shite
That means that we still have 1 more to go.

Step 6 is always an ongoing process then we go back to step 1 and start all over again.

Nobody ever told us that there was a step 7.

Reaching step 7 might very well be a unicorn

It is possible to do that. These stages, even when first conceived, were never claimed to be chronological and linear. You just go through all seven at some point, but which ones and when can vary, and certainly you can be going through more than one at a given time.

As for most LSU fans with regard to the ones listed, shock was pretty much done before Orgeron ever got here. There may be no one specific moment when it set in, or it may be different for different people. For some, it might have been 1/9/12. For others, 21-17 the following November might have been the trigger. Still others might have held out until as late as the Wisconsin or Auburn games last year. But for almost everyone, the "shock" of knowing that the program was no longer elite happened before we got rid of Les Miles, or at least at the time we did.

In a way, I hope LSU can beat Florida so the 7 stages can be reset, and then go through all 7 stages again after the next beat down.
