Where is all this OSU love coming from?

I have watched them play several times this year and JT Barrett is a horrible passer. If they wanted two Big ten teams in then it should be Wisky/PSU winner and Michigan. Not OSU. They are one dimensional. Their receivers rarely get separation and combine that with a QB who is extremely inaccurate, the committee would be making a mistake if they think that the Buckeyes are one of the most complete teams that deserves a shot in the playoff. Top ten? Sure I could hear that argument but not worthy of a top four this year. And before this gets turned on me about not being SEC relevant, it is CFP relevant and we have a big horse in the race. The elephant in the room. No pun intended.

I don't think OSU should get in regardless.
but alas, the media loves them so i'm sure they'll find a way into the playoffs

Their resume is pretty impressive. Probably the most impressive in the top 10.

And I hate aOSU.

I agree and Michigan St should have beaten them. The way Michigan St was running the ball on OSU I think Mich St should have played for OT. I also agree with Harbaugh that Ohio St was short on that first down by a foot. But having said all that, I want Ohio St to make the play offs. Bama owes them some retribution.

Yeah I have been telling people for awhile now that the Buckeyes' run defense is porous at times. They have the best secondary in the country and very good pass rushers but they are not great at shedding blocks and stopping the run. The one advantage that OSU might have in a game versus Alabama might be a spread attack, with Curtis Samuel lined up running a wheel route. But OSU's O-Line is sooo bad at pass protect that the only way they could keep it close is if they bring their defensive "A" game like LSU did. It wasn't the most entertaining game but it sure was competitive and it kept my interest. That is all the committee can hope for. The Buckeyes have speed all over the field but they have way too much youth that had to step in after 10 players declared after last season. I think Michigan would give Bama a better game than anyone else in the country outside of Clemson. And the fact remains that the committee left them at number 5, waiting for a slip up by Washington, Clemson or Penn State.

I'll second that with a passion.
Why do they call themselves THE Ohio State?

Washington and Clemson may be eliminated due to conference championship games, while Ohio St. sits at home with its feet kicked up laughing. The system is an absolute joke at 4 teams. Needs to be expanded ASAP

Only one narrow loss to a surging top 10 team. Not saying they're special or anything, just that plus their multiple-NC winning coach is where all the OSU love is coming from.

Mind you, I despise them and hope Urban abandons them to their doom to go coach at Joliet Penitentiary, but I have no control over the abysmal tastes of other people.

Six but no more than 8. And this CFP was supposed to remove the 2012 BCS scenario when Bama had the rematch vs. LSU. Now it's like they are fittin to go down the same stupid path. Makes no sense

If OSU is not one of the top four then who is in your opinion? Please don't say Michigan since OSU beat them head to head.

Depending on what happens and what discussions the committee engages in, a two-loss PSU could get in over a one-loss OSU. The system will always be flawed in some way. Sports fans are an unruly and opinionated bunch, and there will always be somebody bitching about their team getting shafted.

I would like to see the entire system blown up with this playoff. My top four are (1) Bama vs (4) Washington and (2) Penn State/ Wisky vs (3) Oklahoma if they beat the pokes. Because they would all have won the conference and PSU beat Ohio State. If not Oklahoma then Michigan would deserve the shot because they beat both of the teams in the Big Ten title game.

(1) Alabama

Vs

(4) Western Michigan

(2) Clemson

Vs

(3) Wisky/ Penn State. But there are still so many scenarios based on the conference championships.

You can't blow up the system and take it into the dumpster you dipshit. Western Michigan? They'd be down 24-0 after the first quarter. The committee is supposed to find teams who they feel will be the most competitive, not the most deserving.

Let's just make this clear. People are over complicating all of this

Teams that suck. Oklahoma, penn state, Colorado.

Teams that don't suck. Clemson, osu, bama, Michigan, Washington, wisky

People need to quit arguing for penn state. They are overrated as shite
