Let's put LSU in a bowl they can't get excited about. Then let's gift Clemson a TD when LSU is up by 11 points at the end of the game.

LSU was practicing for next year. Every run play worked but we were working on the passing game. Did we shite the bed on that 2nd and 2 call? Yes. But LSU clearly was not playing this game like it mattered.

Are we talking top talent? Or coaching? Makes a big difference to me.

Talent for talent... LSU is close to the top. When it comes to coaching ability... We suck balls.

That should move them down the rankings then, right? Seems like poor coaching and the wrong type of players if true.

Both are more complete teams with better coaching than LSU.

Then what does that say about them losing to LSU?

Either way, my point is that every team has fans that cry and look for excuses in a loss. There are more lsu fans here than any other team(obviously), so of course the crying will be all over the place. If you go to tidefans or jort nation you will see the same thing.

Both games were pretty close between pretty evenly matched teams. Seems like TAMU and USC have progressed while LSU has remained stagnant or regressed.

I think LSU is starting a bit of a down cycle that will last a couple of years. Nothing like AU more like UGA or UF of a few years ago. Alabama's time is coming over the next couple of years as well. It is just the way college football and the SEC works.

Keep the kicks coming everyone - keep em coming. Yep it is "an embarrassment" to the SEC, almost like losing to ULM, or having a coach caught with an employee on a motorcycle wreck. Or male yell leaders, or coach caught with an escort, or coach leaving in the middle of the night to go somewhere that had yell leaders. Or a qb's momma using her sculpted mammeries to take up for her baby boy. Or getting caught paying kids, or once again - yell leaders. Hog fans - really? Embarrassment? Bama fans - lets not open your closet. Aggies? frick off- you still have tea sip scars on your arse, and if I recall - they still celebrate that usl victory in Lafayette. So lets go ahead and get a good idea of what embarrassment is. If anything we should be celebrated for our diversity - we are the only school to give Lenny from mice and men a got damned job

Would you consider them in the top 5 anymore? I'm not sure if I would

You shama things better be glad Miles handed you the game on Nov. 3, otherwise we may have been playing ND, not you.
Had we gotten one more first down and three kneel-downs, we would have jumped to at the lowest #3 and probably #2.
I'm quite frankly amazed that LSU got this far what with losing all but 2 starters on the OL and our #1 RB to injury for the year, and losing a starting LB and starting All-America DB before the year even started.

At this moment I'd rank Florida #1, with shama a shade behind, then Georgia and A&M, and LSU and USCe, but there's really not much difference between those top 6.....

Well then LSU has a severe coaching problem on their hands. Because the last TWO bowl games LSU clearly was not playing like the games mattered. Does Les have a problem motivating his team for bowl games?

I see. So, the players SELF-motivated themselves when we beat Miami 40-3, Notre Dame 41-14, Ohio State 38-24, Georgia Tech 38-3, and Texas A&M 41-24 ????????????????????????????
Funny, if LSU gets a first down and runs out the clock, or Clemson's last FG is no good, somehow there would have been no complaining about "motivation"...........

Yeah, there's CLEARLY a "coaching" problem.
85-21 in 8 seasons, 5-3 in bowl games, Six 10-win or better seasons in 8 years, 6 Top Ten rankings.
Yeah, that's it....
