Its true. If Alabama played in a real conference it wouldn't have won shite these past few years.

As soon as you stop carrying the conference you will see the rest of the big 6 will continue the tradition just fine.

Kind of like the 03, 06, 07, 08, 10, 13* seasons

-LSU would have won in 11
-UGA could have won in 12
-and UF prob beats Texas in 09

We haven't "needed" you any year but 2015.

If anything your run, and hissy fit to play for the NC against your own brethren even when you couldn't win the conference has only made the conference more boring.

So the 7 or 8 teams (at least) that the SEC routinely sends to bowl games every year, and the 4 or 5 teams (at least) that the SEC has ranked in the final top 25 every year just like magically don't register in your tiny brain?

And, in the past 5 years, we've had 9 different teams ranked in the Top 5 during the year, and 5 teams ranked #1 during the year. Your precious taaaaahd is not the only fricking team in the SEC.

Florida and LSU are in the Top 10 in victories in the last decade, and maybe Georgia too.

This conference carries itself. We win NCs with or without bama. You happen to be the best program at the moment though

After 07 I could say "when will the rest of the conference step up, LSU (03,07) is carrying this conference."

After 08 I could say "when will the rest of the conference step up? UF (06, 08) has been carrying this conference"

if Emmert, the BCS Human Poll Voters, the SEC Network, ESPN, Fox, The SEC Office, the Head of SEC Officials, the Head of SEC Scheduling, the Head SEC Replay Official, Rivals, Scout, untold numbers of underground Row Taaaaahd booster groups, High School "Handlers" Coaches in other states, etc. weren't there and slobbering Alabama's tiny knob, you WOULDN'T be there...........
