LSU at 8?
Bama at 3?
Bama at 3?

Arkansas 13th and moving to a 3-4.

8 is about right for LSU since they're losing 3 of the 4 starters from the base, but it's stupid to list bower as a loss but not include Key as a returner. It's also stupid not to mention Devin White who's returning.

Bama only has six 5 star players among its ILB/OLB depth chart.

They must figure in experience for the ratings.

I think these articles should have an implied "other than Alabama, of course" before their lists

Yeah, not mentioning Devin White is a mistake by SDS. Alexander my be a returning senior, but Devin White will be LSU's breakout player on defense. We'll also have Phillips, who was last year's #1 ILB recruit.

Bama is going to have the best linebacker Corp in the country yet again

Bama can put 4- 5 star linebackers on the field at once,

Most likely. And without knowing anything about LSU's LBs, I would guess they will be better than 8th

Alabama will probably be 1 in reality, but UGA is very good at LB.

Big Two

2. Auburn — Loses: T.J. Neal. Returns: Jr. Deshaun Davis
The Tigers basically lose nothing here, as grad transfer Neal played a fairly small role in his one year at Auburn. Returning starters senior Tre Williams (67 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, four QB hurries), Davis (63 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five QB hurries) and fellow junior Darrell Williams (52 stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, five QB hurries) give the Tigers a talented and experienced linebacker corps.
Junior Montavious Atkinson would start for many teams, and the Tigers don’t lack for depth. This is one of the best groups in the conference and the country.

The list loses all credibility by not listing Devin White. What a joke.

DL is key to LB play; so I'm gonna say AlaBama.
Where do t'other DLs rate?
