When is the last time any SEC school lost to two unranked OOC teams in a row?

Has that happened before?

That's got to be a tough stat to research.

I only know of one off the top of my head.

UF lost to two OOC foes in 2013 but FSU was ranked of course. I can't remember the other team we lost to but it was awful.

Is Arky the only one you can come up with too?

I guess it's happened to Vandy somewhere down the line and maybe OM.

I'd assume Vandy in the past year

Nope. Checked Vandy for last year. No consecutive losses to unranked OOC foes.

The in a row part makes it tough. I know there are teams where the losses are consecutive...but with a ranked loss sandwiched in between.

Them? Arkies?

If yes, they sure do. Their core group generally doesn't run and hide after being embarrassed by their coach.

Surprisingly tough to just find two unranked OOC teams scheduled in a row.

I know one of MSU or Ole Miss had to do it during the Croom / Orgeron years.

You need to add "at home" because that matters too.

1989 LSU. Started out number 7 in the country. Got their arse kicked by two unranked teams out of conference in the first two weeks to drop out of the top 25.

In 1992 LSU lost the opener to A&M 31-22 and 3 weeks later lost to Colorado State 17-14. A&M might have been ranked though......

Arky fans are gonna tell you that Little Rock isn't a home game.
