Towles is decent but behind a paper offensive line and with WRs dropping TD passes, it's hard to make the case for him being really good.

I can't remember the SEC being this bad for QBs. Maybe the wishbone days.

The SEC as a whole is not as good as it was 5 year ago. College football is cyclical. Enjoy the reign while it lasts

We have an NCAA record setting QB in the SEC now. You're welcome

South Carolina will likely miss a Bowl this year. The end of the Spurrier era.

Agree that he lit it up yesterday

But that is a very different tune than what UGA guys were saying the last few weeks.

Can he sustain that? If so, he is the man in the SEC.

But my point remains. SEC QB's suck as a whole this year

Yes Dak is decent but would you label him "Good".

I love his fight. Dude is a gamer. But he got very "lucky" (yea, I said it) at times in last nights game

So?
It's not like they are the worst team in history..yet no other QB ever had a better completion percentage..despite all the games vs very bad teams over the years

Without a doubt. But that was his first SEC start, on the road, in an EXTREMELY hostile environment. And he still carried his team to victory.

I think he'll only get better from here on out.

Mizzou does. Our coach just won't start him.

How about a little credit to our DL?

I like Grier, but our OL is thin and inexperienced. I think he will be a very good QB. And it was his first start on the road, against a team and stadium that fully expected to win.

No doubt. I would take him in a second. He did not give up and was not afraid last night. Won his team over as well.
