Had no idea we are ranked 9th. Currently at Memorial watching excite night with my gymnast daughter (no pics pervs, she is 7) Kentucky 48.975 Auburn 49.125. I don't think UK is strong on the vault.

I wouldn't call Kentucky great but they're not garbage either. The SEC as a whole is the premier conference for gymnastics. A lot of solid teams around.

Well, seems they are redeeming themselves on the bars.

After a long time of ignoring it, then letting Georgia run wild in it... the SEC is amazingly strong in gymnastics.

To which Kentucky might be a 5-6th best team in the SEC but to the rest of the country they would be a juggernaut. And they have a real shot to be better then 5th or 6th.

There are a couple of teams each year in the SEC that can win the national title in gymnastics and I think Kentucky could easily be one of them.

Solid score for the Wildcats.

Crazy, ain't it?

I've loved watching gymnastics evolve and gain significant steam in the SEC over the years.

Looking solid on the beam so far. (Hope I didn't jinx them)

Holy smokes. Kentucky is awesome on the beam. Lowest score was 9.850. That was a solid rotation for the Cats. Auburn finishing up on the floor. Struggling a tad with 2 of them.

SEC is turning gymnastics into a revenue sport. LSU has been drawing 10k or more. LSU and Bama played at packed house last week in Tusc. I was curious how the Cats are drawing in Lex for this sport

If I were to guess, there is about 9-10 thousand here tonight. It is packed.

So far we are crushing it on the floor.

I might be wrong, but I think every SEC gymnastics team is top 25.

Kentucky 197.100. Auburn 195.800

Looks to be Kentucky's highest score of the year and looks to be top 4 in the nation with Bama's highest of the year.

Very good meet for the Wildcats! It'll be fun to see them improve throughout the season. Maybe they can steal the #2 spot in the SEC.

We lost to Georgia and we're in trouble after our ace Wellick got injured in warm ups before the loss to Missouri the match before.

When we've had success its with one really good all around gymnast and a solid supporting cast so losing her is a real blow to the season.

If Wellick does have a torn Achille's tendon like some reports suggested she's done for the season and likely done for her career as she's a senior this year. Horrible way to end her career if that is the case.
