LSU has a very difficult back end to their schedule. Alabama may only be the beginning of the beatings for the Tigers.

If it gets to the point that beating LSU wins the division, then the West would be already decided.

USA was a toss up, but LSU whined until the SEC helped them out putting Florida on the schedule to ensure a 0 fer November.
