Many of us have come across odd stuff on campus that doesn't quite make sense or you simply don't know about it.

I was taking a shortcut down an alley along the way to the science library and I walk by a door and I look at the door and it says "Infectious Disease Lab" and i started feeling all tingley. I had no clue anything like that existed on our campus. It's part of our veterinary school.

My buddy and I were going for a walk and saw a building we'd never seen before (we were not south campus people- south campus is generally ugly). We tried to go inside but it was locked.

Is all we saw. Turns out it's bio laboratory. Never would have thought of that with the lobby.

Was in the food science building for a month when i was taking stat, and was walking by one of their labs with windows and they had hundreds of tuna they were decapitating.

And this wasn't really strange but it was random. Someone brought a camel to tate plaza for some cause or another. Was waiting in line for some graduation thing and was worried it'd spit on me.

My brother once found a bunch of bananas (around 50... I used to have a pic) on Alabama's quad one day. Absolutely no explanation for it

Not really that strange, but someone wrote, "THE GRATEFUL DEAD" that dried into the cement in between Mike's habitat and Tiger Stadium.

A little known, single-hole shitter, always clean and fresh smelling, with a lock on the door.

Oh, and I wouldn't consider this that strange because it seems every campus had one, but the anti-abortion demonstration kinda made me laugh. Not the content, but whenever anyone takes something so violently serious, I think it's funny

A&M has underground steam tunnels. That is where the secret societies would meet dating back into the early 1900s I believe. Next time you see an Ag wear his ring on the left hand, you may have just met someone from this exclusive club.

There used to be some decades-old political stickers on the back of a stop sign that I think was by Rowand Johnson hall. Bush-Quayle.. Etc. in plain view by a side walk and no one thought to take them down. I believe they may have finally been removed because I didn't see them the last time I was there (although to be honest it may have been the wrong sign and I wasn't looking very hard).

Also a dead cat that looked like it had just up and had a heart attack. By the sorority houses. This was after the NIU game of '03 so it was appropriate.

I didn't find this, but someone else apparently did.

When I was about to graduate and was getting all nostalgic already, I was reading some shitty article about things to do before graduating. One of them was write a letter to yourself, leave it in the library, and come back and read it 10 years later. Corny as hell, I know...but I thought it was kind of a cool idea. So I did that. Wrote myself a lengthy letter of some of my favorite college memories, girls I'd dated, girls I missed out on, fun times at the bars, and basically just an overall snapshot of what was going on at that exact moment in my life.

So I head to the library. I didn't want to put it in something that had a low probabiliyt of use like "ancient origins of japanese algebra, vol. II" or something because I'd forget. So I put it in my dad's favorite book so I knew I'd remember. My mistake. So anyways, I leave and forget about it. Well, fast forward about 3 or 4 years. At this point I was tailgating on the quad right by the library and was like "hey! I'll go read my letter!" So I go upstairs, find all the copies of the book next to each other, and each one is empty. Gone. Missing forever. Idk if someone checked it out and saw it (probable...I'm an idiot for picking a semi-popular book) or it was some librarian or something.

Either way, how big of a dick do you have to be to not put it back in the book? I even wrote a little prologue explaining what it was and if it was ever found to be courteous enough to put it back. They didn't. Buttheads.
