What's the purpose of locking this board on gamedays?

Honest question. I've been wondering why they do that.

Easier to dump all the shitposting when's it's on the other board

That makes sense. There would be massive amounts of trolling/flaming on two boards instead of just one.

What's funny is they lock down the LSU team board as well but not any of the other teams. Guess we know who melts the hardest.

During the game 100's of threads are started with whatever dumb thought pops in people's heads. If it's on the Score Board they can just mass delete them afterwards.

They anchor all the topics so people don't bump them after games. The scoreboard holds all the gameday shite posting.

There's also a tiger droppings scoreboard. There are more LSu fans on this site. That's why they have their own.

The other team boards are already private. Why would they need to lock them?

It's a shame, some of the finest postings come after all the games have been played. Chicken ought to send the weekly "Score Board" to the Library of Congress.

Pretty sure the admins have stopped caring about this board for the most part.

But the volume is different. There is significantly more traffic on here during games. Did someone just get hit hard as shite? 15 threads with "OH shite HE GOT ROCKED" hit the first page. It's easier to just wipe all of that (with a cloth) and start anew on Sunday.

Lol, That is so true. Personally, I like the knee jerk threads, especially when some random team is losing: I'll use Florida as an example. You're gonna have 30 different threads "Florida sucks" "Florida is gay" "frick Florida" etc.

100s? In my relatively short time here I have observed that it may actually be thousands... hundreds of thousands. Maybe even millions!

there would be hundreds of posts from 8 months ago on the 1st page...pretty sure thats one of the reasons.
