1. Ole Miss doesn't cheat other schools are just jealous of our recruiting success
2. Most of the violations aren't against football
3. All of the violations are from the Houston Nutt era
4. They're just minor infractions, we'll just get a slap on the wrist

Then, the school president overrules the AD. The replacement coach turns us down, and we're stuck with trying to build a program around a coach that everyone knows is on the way out.
