This Forer Effect attack is just shallow and pedantic.

They aren't truly Southern (for the most part ) so they have the whole New Jersey comes down to Florida thing going for them. Way closer temperament- wise to Ohio State fans than say Alabama fans. They are WAY more aggressive than most fan bases. So they tend to clash with more Southern culture fan bases who put a higher premium on hospitality.

5 k NYers moved to GA
Our population is a little over double that of GA.
Looks like proportion wise...you are getting your fair share unfortunately.
Most go South of me so I rarely am affected by their Yankeeness and some are indeed annoying as hell.

It is a myth that Floridians are Yankees. Most of the growth in Florida has come from other southern states. Look it up. Even Miami's population growth isn't from the north.
After living in a few southern states including Alabama and Florida, I have to say that of the 3 fanbases in Florida, Miami is the absolute worst. FSU is 2nd, and then the Gator fans. As for my experience with southern fans in general, Alabama fans are far more obnoxious than anyone else in the South. But, they are not as obnoxious as Miami fans and Ohio State fans. Those are the absolute worst.
