The entire 2011 season. So many WTF second halves.

ETA: Dr. RC already posted this, but bears repeating.

Without a doubt, and without even a remote competitor, the 1994 Auburn game. Our defense allowed 165 yards, three points, only one first down in the second half; our offense piled up over 400 yards and scored 26 points. But we lost the game 30-26 because Auburn got four defensive scores. They recovered a fumble in our end zone in the first half, then returned three interceptions for touchdowns in the fourth quarter to erase a 23-9 LSU lead. All told, Jamie Howard threw six interceptions that day, including five in the fourth quarter (two more AFTER the three that were returned for TDs), plus the earlier fumble making it seven total turnovers on the day, with four of them giving Auburn touchdowns. Only Curley Hallman could lose a game like that.

LSU vs. Arkansas 2007

From an opposing fan's viewpoint, that was one of the more "WTF just happened" wins I can remember.

We got stomped by Fulmer's last decent Tennessee team two weeks before and were limping in at 7-4, not to mention that it was in Baton Rouge. It was obvious Nutt was done and his team had quit, and meanwhile LSU was rolling and was a lock for the BCSCG. I thought we'd get rolled by 5 touchdowns.

Then Peyton Hillis and DMac went beast mode.

I can't believe that no Aggies have mentioned this one yet:

2008 home opener verses Arkansas State. We go into halftime up 14-3. The second half sees ASU score 15 unanswered and we lose 14-18. The first of the Sherman second half meltdowns...in his first game as HC. It was writing on the wall.

2012 Bama.

2014 Bama is up there, but after 2012 that final drive was pretty much expected.

I had a very different perspective. I expected to win and was surprised that no one was giving us a chance. Nutt was our biggest obstacle, but he usually had the team ready when we played LSU. Our running game couldn't be stopped when it was clicking and you had to know that it would be clicking against LSU.

The Sooner Bowl. I still don't understand wtf our game plan was or how Trevor Knight became Peyton Manning.

I am starting to wonder if Cardale Jones will suck it up this year as well

1981 Egg Bowl- State(7-3) leads Ole Miss(3-6-1) 17-14 with a few ticks remaining. John Fourcade airs one out about 50 yards to the end Izone. An official named Dick Pace called PI on State, the worst call I've ever seen, and per the rules in 81 the ball was placed on the 1. Fourcade scores the next play with about 6 seconds left and ran down the MSU sideline flipping the bird.
1983 Egg Bowl- State(3-7) blows a 23-6 lead and trails 24-23, but has driven down to the Ole Miss(5-5) 10 yard line or so and sets up the last play for a chip shot GW field goal. Our kicker, Artie Cosby, was dang good so barring an act of God, we were going to cost the Rebs their first bowl berth in 12 years. Well guess what? An act of God. It had been a rainy day with off and on thunderstorms. The ball is kicked goes through the goalpost, sits there and spins, and then a huge gust of wind blows it back out into the end zone. State players go from jumping up and down to WTF?

Only other time after a loss I've been that befuddled was the 2003 Miami-UF game.

UF is up 33-10 late in the 3rd Q, and completely collapses.

This is one the biggest WTF losses in college football history really.

If you looked at the stats (minus the turnovers) you would guess the game was likely a 42-3'ish LSU win.

The first one sounds just like the '82 Arkansas/SMU game and they changed that rule the following year.

That second one is hilarious though. I just watched it and you weren't lying.

I hope Spurrier's last game in college is a blowout.

And it's against Butch Jones.
