Florida fans (if you're still here, what are you hearing about where ole Boom ends up)

Our insiders are thinking he's heading over here to Carolina which would be a huge get for us given his recruiting prowess and Spurrier's lack of interest in it. Aggies...will y'all make a play for him?

I wonder if defensive guys of Muschamp's type (Saban disciple types) want to go coach for an uptempo coach who is set in his overall game management style and philosophy like Malzahn or Sumlin. I think they know that those systems make it really, really hard to do what they want to do defensively.

I think South Carolina might make a lot of sense. Really similar to Kiffin getting fired at USC and going to Alabama.

I highly doubt WM goes anywhere that has a HC where the offensive emphasis is a hunh.

I think WM may take a yr away from coaching. If not, I could see South Carolina in his future.

We don't know the terms of his settlement. I could see Florida saying "no SEC jobs for a period of time," when they handed him a six million dollar check and a handshake.

Seems like a terrible idea for a guy looking to rehab himself. HUNH coach that wants to go fast as possible. Nobody's defense does exceptionally well with that sort of program emphasis.

Muschamp will be a HC again ...it makes sense he goes somewhere where he can learn a little around a forward thinking offensive mind

He loved his time there and only left because of Jacobs screwing him over and Texas money.

Yea he was coaching for Tubs with Borges running the West Coast Offense.

Now Auburn is a HUNH program and Jacobs is still there.

I can see Muschamp hitching on at AU if Ellis Johnson is fired. Could also see him possibly at TAMU or sitting out a year to catch his breath then get back into the coaching ranks

Debbie Downer!

There may be something to that but he'd be a perfect fit with his personality at A&M. Fans and students would be eaten up with it. More importantly, he'd plug some toughness into all our 4- and 5-star guys. Hoping, hoping, hoping it happens.

I don't see him going to A&M. No inside info, but I think he would prefer to coach under more of a disciplinarian head coach. There will not be anything newsworthy on any of this until after Turkey Day weekend.

To most that means his own fired self or Richt. The latter may be right but that would be weird, wouldn't it? I sure don't have any inside info but I do know Aggies would love to have him and he'd fit in perfectly.
