What's going on with Auburn?

Gus was named the Saban killer and has been picked to win the SEC multiple times. They have the talent down there on the plains. Is it the coaching? They are losing staff left and right and have had a couple of disappointing seasons in a row. what gives?

They've been taking the Tiger dick quite a bit lately.

This should be an informative thread, full of unbiased and factual information.

Poor Auburn getting piled on. I'm kinda missing the Ole Miss and LSU threads from last week already.

Third rate programs are third rate

tRant answer- They suck
Real answer- poor QB play is tough to overcome with just a small amount of talent. We still have little talent in the trenches and it shows. Plus poor coaching and playcalling.

If they come out the gate slow this year I really think Gus will be in trouble. I really don't know what is going on over there to be honest. One would think this would have been happening to us after that cluster frick at seasons end.

Well then be the Auburn fan to provide unbiased factual information. I seriously do want to know why Gus seems to be pissing off assistants who can't wait to jump ship. That does appear to be what is happening.

Coaches Bout to Be shite Canned
According to CoachesHotSeat.com, he's the third most likely to get fired next year.
Mushcamp is #2... guess they think he might pull a Steven Avery.
#1 is of course Moon Moon

A guy I know in Little Rock is well connected...He told me early in the season that Muschamp would be gone regardless and he wasn't the only coach who had a problem with Gus
Pretty spot on with his info

my unbiased statement is based on what both of my nephews (auburn grads that follow the program faithfully) and they both say the AD is the problem. and they also say big money boosters meddle too much.
so maybe they are right or maybe they are just like all of us fans; we don't really know. it could very well simply be that the coaches that have left did so for MORE OPPORTUNITY and an abnormal attrition took place. this happens all the time with assistant coaches. all of the rumors about Gus may be just that; internet rumors. probably have no basis in fact (but they may)

OK, I'll humor you. Who do you mean, aside from Dameyune Craig, who had nothing but good things to say yesterday?

I love inside info after all the changes have been made...

Poor management from the top down.
Jay Jacobs isn't anymore of an AD than anyone registered on this board. Gus Malzhan isn't anymore of an SEC head coach than anyone on this board.
But this is what happens when a university creed is the managerial strategy of a university.
All jokes aside, Auburn has to stop hiring from within.

Very fair and many feel the same as your nephews, but as you stated it is hard to really know without having direct access or knowledge.

True.

Nobody here has won the SEC as a head coach, so I'll disagree with this one. But recent events have cast some doubt on him.

It looks like Gus is grasping for air to me.
Shipping Craig to LSU is really odd.
He's probably gone.
Better questions, what kind of record would he have to post to stay?
