What's better for an SEC division?

To have one elite program constantly in the playoff talk(11-1, A+), two real good programs occasionally in playoff talk(10-2, A), or three good programs rarely in playoff talk (9-3, B+)?

Best thing that could happen for a division would be like in 2011.
Going into final week
LSU 11-0
Alabama 10-1
Arkansas 10-1
Knowing how things ultimately turned out part of me wishes that Arkansas would have won and the division would have ended in a 3 way tie

Well if you pick the first scenario then your conference would get big bowl wins but not much else, scenario 2 you would have more of a balanced division, scenario 3 you would have maximin bowl wins but little championships. So you have to pick your preference.

I prefer the East to have the big 3 head and shoulders above the rest of the division, the way it was intended.

Probably would have went to the tie breaker where the BCS polls chose the winner. Arkansas probably would have won that and went to the SEC championship.

Normally thats how it would work with us being the last team with the big win but I'm not so sure it would have played out that way
