2001.
Saban lost to Tennessee and Florida.
We went on to beat Tennessee in the SECCG and won the Sugar Bowl.

2001 LSU vs. ranked teams:
at #7 Tennessee: L 18-26
#2 Florida: L 15-44
#24 Arkansas: W 41-38
#25 Auburn: 27-14
The rest of the West was unranked at the time we played them
SECCG: #2 Tennessee: 31-20
Sugar Bowl: #7 Illinois 47-34
Two things:
SEC West is MUCH, MUCH tougher this year
Nick Saban is not our coach today
