Well its hard to say as far as from 2007 on because it depends on who would be coaching....But overall we would still be considered one of the most successful football programs.

A Harbaugh, Meyer, or Chip Kelly coached team...they were desperate to win again. They were going to pay a shite ton for somebody good.

The baby boomers only knew Alabama as one of the top programs nationally. Now the current generation has become the same way. So as long as after Saban leaves we don't spend another thirty years with the good ol boy bj system again, the reputation will stay the same. Hopefully, young Bama fans won't have to spend most of their life with the shite talking that I did, while growing up in Florida.

quote:This. I think Bama(boosters, admins) has always known what it takes to win. After wondering in the dark for such a long time, they have learned from the past mistakes and are less likely to repeat them. They have deep pockets and will go after who they feel will continue what Saban has established. They will get a true alpha male like Saban and will give him total control and let the train keep rolling. Won't win em all, but will win enough to keep fans happy

Dennis Franchione, Mike Shula, and Mike Dubose all had 10 win seasons at Alabama. Dubose won a SEC title.
What does that tell you?
