Sometimes, we as members of the SEC, forget that you are leaving things behind that you may miss. Obviously, we hope that you already appreciate and will come to love our dysfunctional family, as well as our way of doing things and our traditions. What, if anything, will make you homesick? What are you looking forward to?

The kurmudgeons and those threatened by your possible success have forgotten their southern manners, so please don't mind them. I hope you guys feel like part of the family.

Aggie fans will miss an easy road game two hours up Highway 6 where they had more fans than the home team (Baylor).

(But they won't miss Baylor buying less than 500 tickets for the shortest road trip they have)

- I will miss playing tu.
- My family are all Sooners, I will not miss losing to them.
- I am looking forward to road games that are actually fun.
- I am looking forward to having your fans roll in to Kyle for the first time, and getting their reactions. Most of the young ones will be very surprised how loud our gay milk man make the place(if they weren't effective we would have female cheerleaders).
- I will miss Nebraska fans.
- I am looking forward to the first time we beat each team. None of y'all will be expecting it, even if we are favored, and then your dark sides will come out.
- I will miss following some Big 12 teams as well. You pay attention to how the rest of the conference is doing, and are constantly rooting for the upset. I have a soft spot in my heart due to some awesome upsets. Now I have to learn to root for Ole Miss 7 times a year when I used to do that with the Jayhawks and Cyclones.
- I am looking forward to my first piece of SEC poon.
- I looking forward to all your food.

Tech rivalry.

Looking back, I appreciate it now.

I really couldn't care less about anything else.

I totally forgot about the road game thing. The Big 12 is so spread out, I took for granted the teams that are close to each other.

It's like dating long distance.

Nebraska fans are generally the most well-liked fans in the Big12. They travel well and have fun without being dicks.

I'll miss having a built-in excuse to skip family time on Thanksgiving to go to the game.

I am trying to convince my sorostitute friend that went to Auburn to go to the game this year. She's at OU Law right now, and keeps making excuses, but I want the protection of someone beautiful around if we rock their worlds.

They left the big 12 anyway... so it's not like you'd have them to have fun with if you stayed.

The Alabama fans I know are excited to host A&M in Tuscaloosa, and hopefully you have a really good experience. For the most part, they like A&M because of Bear Bryant and Gene Stallings. Plus, there's never been a rivalry with you guys, so there aren't really any bitter feelings. Whatever ill will that came with Coach Fran ended when he sucked so badly.

Well-played.

Honestly, though the old rivalries with kU, Nebraska, and Oklahoma in football. We've been playing all three for around or over 100 years. You don't replace history like that overnight.

That's really about all I'll miss though. I can't wait for this upcoming football season, it's sort of like getting called up to big leagues. I can't wait to visit some SEC stadiums and campuses (Georgia in particular is one I'm looking forward to), as well as developing new rivalries, (I'm looking at you, Arkansas). I'm also looking forward to SEC basketball and getting a shot at Kentucky once or twice a year.
