How do you motivate the team? No bowl game possibilities. Now their head coach is gone. Looming NCAA sanctions. Probably some inevitable player transfers.

Here's my best guess:

South Alabama - Win
UT Martin - Win
@ California - Loss
@ Alabama - Massacre
@ Auburn- Loss
Vanderbilt - Win
@ LSU - Loss
Arkansas- Loss
@ Kentucky - Loss
UL Lafayette - Win
Texas A&M - Loss
@ Mississippi St. - Loss

That puts them at 4-8 overall; 1-7 in the league. I could also see that Vandy game going the other way. Right now I'll put it at 50/50 and give Ole Miss the nod only because its at home.

They lose to Vandy in good years so no way they win this season

I don't like this game for the fact we've owned them, and honestly they have nothing to lose. They might not show up, but this game would hurt to lose. This goes for every team too.

1-11 with a win against UT Martin is the absolute best fricking case scenario. Ole Miss is gonna be so mother fricking pathetic next year. What an absolute dumpster fricking fire Ole Miss is.

Best case is like Baylor last year in which their talent helps them win 6 games but because of how disinterested they are, they go on a losing streak at some point.

More likely, 3-9.

No, while a solid prediction based on what should happen you don't understand how much God himself hates Ole Miss.

They go undefeated and still miss out on going to Atlanta. Next year they win three games.

I think it'll be best to approach Ole Miss like that friend who starts driving backwards on Mario Kart just to frick someone up because they're so behind. It's not like their players currently on the team won't be good. They're gonna lose a bunch but frick someone up in the wake, I think.

Probably 3-9 with wins over UT Martin, South Alabama, and ULL.

And frankly South Alabama could win if last year's win over Moo U is any indication.

If they don't lose any players they could still be dangerous. Offensively. Defense will not be any better but not any worse. You never know. If they stay, they could be them vs the world motivated. Bama better look out. Cuz ya know they done pissed em offf

They've lost a coach. All the players are still in place.

They will be more competitive this year than people think.

2018 they will cease being competitive.

Yeah, that isn't a big deal.

They are breaking in a new quarterback and have the least amount of returning starters from a 5 win team.

Unless players transfer within the next couple of months, they will be fine. If anyone marks this game down as an auto-win, you may get blindsided...
