The matter was expected to be decided during student balloting taking place Tuesday in conjunction with voting for homecoming queen and other campus personalities. However, in a letter Monday evening, Associated Student Body President Dion Kevin III said the decision was made to extend mascot voting until 7 p.m. Friday. He said the decision was made to allow for more input.

Should be red foxes , which I am told is the state mammal or something. They could go with sly red foxes, or something cool like that. Nope they will go with something trendy that will soon lose its appeal because it doesn't make any sense, and end of voting for something else later. They will go with Land Sharks.
