They've gotten worse each season under Malzahn. DC's in the SEC have figured out his gimmick offense. Do they think Muschamp will make them elite again? When your defense is on the field 90% of the game it won't matter who your DC is.

They will win 7-8 games again. Without Cam Newton and/or being the luckiest team in NCAA history, Malzahn is a average 7 win coach.

Idiot. You have any research to back up that claim about the defense being on the field the whole game?
And he's been the coach 2 years. It's not like it has been a 5 year slide.

Idk but im all for it. Every year they are hyped they blow it. When they have no expectations they randomly make a title run

I also wouldnt quit say that SEC coaches have figured it out...I mean Nick Saban who is easily the best coach in the conference sure as hell hasn't figured it out. Good thing they have had awful defenses these past few years

schedule is ok. we have a boss qb named uganda cam.

defense should be much improved with Lawson back and boomchamp. RBs and receivers look fine. lines look pretty solid.

AL is down. LSU is down. looking like our year. and yes- things can go sideways in a new york minute.

Not gimmick, 2nd in SEC in total offense last year, w/o a very good passer.

Muschamp will make AU a top 10 D.

Will win a Natty and be the first ever 15-0 cfb team.

So can we all agree the mass reinstatement thing was a bad idea?

Sure, some good posters came back, but at what cost?

I know first hand that Chavis hasn't figured out Auburn. Nor has Kevin Steele, Kirby Smart, etc.

Been saying the same thing about LSU. I could be the starting QB for them.

dude. he's been there 2 years. let's wait before we make this claim.

Uh, you sure about that? He scored 41 on LSU and 44 on Bama last year. Defenses don't get much better than those two in this conference.

quote:

Do they think Muschamp will make them elite again?

Say huh? They've had elite seasons, but they've not been consistently "elite" in their history, so I doubt they expect Muschamp to be what makes them something they've never been - even when he was there the first time.

Malzahn is a average 7 win coach.

Pretty sure he's 29-10 in 3 seasons as a CFB HC. That would make him about a 10-3 coach.

Pruitt?

7 points for an offense averaging 38 up to that point ... That's a pretty good day for UGA, and bad for Gus' offense.
