Obviously, we look like garbage so far. Shoudl be 1-2 at this point and still looking at 5 more potential losses.

The biggest issue obviously has been QB which now we have snowboard cam on board so that should turn around some. But, we still have to (AS OF NOW) count bama, ole miss, and georgia as losses.

So as the title states...what is our biggest issue? Can boom turn around the defense? Can Gus get it going? I haven't given up hope yet and still feel like we can make some noise in the west, but it'll take some sort of turnaround. Please calm my fears.

You came to a site devoted to ripping each other apart to ask something like this? Good luck.

I don't get it though. Yes he failed as head coach, but he's been an outstanding DC. Granted it's only been a few games but I expected more at this point.

Poor front 7 recruiting... lots of mistakes in that area... not many folks that have panned out.

We have outscored folks in the past, we will see if Snowboard can save us...

Mostly adults I'm sure, many who act more like children. Most could probably talk about football all day for weeks. None of that is the issue. If you have read this site for more than 1 day you know better then to ask this question. Here is a word you should look up, schadenfreude, its what makes this site great.

Auburn has a leadership problem.
Not sure where it lies but it's apparent in more than one way. You have players talking trash, leadership vacuum. You have defenders not even trying to make tackles, leadership vacuum. QB, with talent, failing miserably... How can he provide leadership ?
Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I see as your teams biggest issue.

Boom is a good coach who needs time to put his ideas into play. No one saw jj coming.
We both just need to get thru this year.

The fact you didn't count State as a loss is going to make it double hard on you.

I look at auburn as a team that could get better as the season goes -still looking at 7-5 though. maybe 8-4 if they improve quick enough.

You have enough posts to know that this isn't the case. This board is purely for laughing at stupid trolls unfortunately. You might have 20 or so members who actually come here to talk football. I find that the team boards are generally a better place for actual discussion.
