What SEC schools, if any, will get to Omaha?

Here's how I'd rank them
1) Kentucky
Elite offense. Quality starters and bullpen depth.
2) Arkansas
See comments on Kentucky. Imagine if they had Isaiah Campbell & Keaton McKinney? Might be Top 3 in the country.
3) Florida
Why are they so bad offensively? Can't ignore Singer, Faedo, Kowar & Byrne though - gonna be tough to beat in a Regional or 3-game Super even if the bats don't show up.
4) Auburn
Assuming Mize is good to go down the stretch - Mize, Thompson, Daniel, Mitchell, Coker, Lipscomb is a solid 6 and their Offense just finds ways to score. Very old lineup. Could be very dangerous.
5) LSU
This next grouping is tough. LSU has just so much talent if they can put it all together - and they have so many veterans. Might bump them over Auburn to #4 b/c "they've been there," but also just so inconsistent at multiple areas.
6) Vanderbilt
Giving them edge b/c of their history and talent
7) Texas A&M
Not sure how they're so good but they are.
8) Ole Miss
Enough pitching depth if they got lucky they could sneak up on people despite the youth and horrendous offense. They will get back to Omaha next year though.
9) South Carolina
They should be #1-#3 honestly given their talent. So many bad bats this year - and now they lose Schmidt? Close the door the Cocks I'm afraid. Plus let's be real, even if they win a Regional - you know the NCAA will match them up with Clemson for the Supers and Clemson will crush them.
10) State
How are they so good? Andy Cannizaro HAS TO BE COACH OF THE YEAR. All the injuries - completely unreal how good they and their record. That being said - I can't see how they get out of a Regional even if they host.
Is it a coincidence that Head Coaches that come from a pitching background seem to often have offensive that can't hit for shite? Look at Florida, Vanderbilt, South Carolina...
Be interesting to see Butch Thompson how he does whenever he loses Bohannon (hopefully to Alabama), ...

Bruh, we're 6-0 vs Clemson in post season play. And the last time we paired off we didn't play because they got bounced from their region by UConn.
Matching up vs Clemson in the Supers is the only confidence I'd have.

Auburn #5 in the nation and you have the #4 in the SEC.

Arkansas would be scary good and have 3 Friday quality starters if we hadn't had injuries to our weekend rotation.
That's how it goes. We will have those guys back next year along with Saturday starter Stephan. Knight will likely go in the first two rounds and he will be gone. Next year Arkansas should be very strong all the way around....Unless injuries hit again.

Don't you dare even hint that. Go full on Kelly's Heroes here and don't even bring up the negative waves man.

Behind two teams they took the series from no less.

I'm not being a Bammer hater. Auburn is awesome but they have legit question marks in terms of getting to Omaha. To ignore such is just being obtuse. It's really quite amazing what they've done this year - you may want to manage your expectations.
Again if Mize isn't available forget about it - you forget though it also takes some luck - even if they win a Regional no telling who AU could get matched up against in Super Regional.
And also again - the SEC was freaking stacked last year and no one got to Omaha. While that was a clear fluke, it still happened and could against this year. A lot of really good teams in the Big 12, ACC and others

Krogerville: Two dollars to win
Aubies: Two Bucks to place
Arkie: Two bucks to show

I'd say Florida first. I also like LSU and Arkansas' chances should they finish strong enough to host.

I misspoke and forgot UF got to Omaha last year - guess I forgot b/c 4-5 SEC teams were "supposed" to but they shite the bed - as did Florida. Shore, Puk, Dunning, Anderson, Faedo, Byrne, Kowar, Singer, Guthrie, India, Reed, Alonso, Rivera, Schwarz, etc on the team and someone called "Coastal Carolina" won the National Title - least you should be upset about is some dork like me forgetting you went 0-2 in Omaha as the #1 overall national seed with like 10 future MLB players on the roster.
So yeah - excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me for leaving out Florida. You did get there.

I wouldn't want to see Ole Miss in the postseason with their pitching. Depending on match ups there really is no excuse for SEC not to get a minimum of 2 to Omaha. Too many teams that have great starting pitchinges not to dominate the supers.

If Auburn makes it to the super I like our chances. Thompson and Mize are both back and both have gotten rest. That's a pretty good one two combo.

Auburn is so fun to watch - gotta admit they're playing a bit over their heads all year. I honest to God will cheer for them over most anyone else - just gonna be tough for them to get to Omaha.
