Georgia and LSU, each are the only "major" program in states that produce more per capita NFL players than just about anyone else.

If Georgia could ever figure out how to stop losing so many players to USC, Bama, Florida, FSU, etc. they'd be THE dominant powerhouse IMO.

Florida

There are other P5 programs in the state but the population of Florida still gives them more of an advantage over teams like LSU and Georgia who don't have to compete as much for their recruits.

Texas is in the shitter (won't be forever), they joined the SEC at the height of the conferences national prestige, already hit a peak then a plateau, 3 years removed from a Heismsn trophy QB.

What do they have to show for any of this?

If not now, when? Outside of LSU receiving the death penalty (bama would still get the bulk of la players) when will more stars align?

Hey, I didn't say anything about them actually capitalizing on it or anything. You gotta remember, we are talking about a collective of retards here. But geographically, population density, level of D1 prospects available + the allure of playing in the SEC all considered, Texas A&M has access to more than enough talent to win championships year in and year out.

Fortunately for the rest of us their school is basically a mockery. They run their University like it's a cult and they're known for fu(king shite up.

Well you might wanna get used to it because in Kirby's first year there's a very good chance that we close with 7 of the top 10 in the state and 12 of the top 15.

Built in advantage example LSU has no other power school in state to recruit against like Alabama does Auburn or Florida does with FSU or Miami.

Dude, I'm barely old enough to remember a few years of SWC play, and I have read up on what I don't personally remember.
The thing about Aggy you gotta realize is that they're going to FOREVER squander any chance they have at a championship with general ineptness. Their own fans could tell you this if they're honest with themselves.

One stat I remember from the SWC days that has stuck with me all this time. Check this. During the 70's Arkansas lost 70% of its games to Texas. Concurrently aTm WON 70% of it's games against the Whorns. (should have meant that they were the dominate team, right? NO SIR!) Texas A&M lost 70% of it's games to Arkansas.

Despite all of their advantages, they find a way to fu(k shite up. Every time. That's why I was never worried about them amounting to anything even when they had Manziel.

They run a cult down there, and that cult has fu(ked them over every which way from Sunday. Can't really explain it other than they're a bunch of morons.

Well, Florida had two other major programs. Atlanta kids usually don't have deep Georgia roots, often coming from all over, and has auburn directly across the border. For those reasons, you could actually say LSU. Bama doesn't have many besides history.

For whatever reason it has to be Bama.
