This is a break down of SEC football player's scholarship money. Of course this is all approximate, but it is based on Tuition+Fees+books+living costs for the fall and spring semester (does not include summer tuition and fees).

To put it in perspective, the average instate SEC football scholarship student is "making" about twice as much as a person at the poverty threshold and out of state students are "making" about 3.5 times the poverty threshold. The students also are not required to pay tax on their "income."

Now hold on just a cotton-pickin' minute, boss. Ole Miss coming in a $1.50 higher per game than Mississippi State?

There's some hanky-panky goin down up in Oxford.
