Missouri is a school that has historically overachieved in many people's minds, but Georgia seems to always have an excusse for why they fail to meet high expectations. Georgia recruits better than almost any school in conference besides Bama, but can't win the East. Lately Georgia seems to be selling the terrible coaching card under Richt, and injuries to star players. Missouri lost its starting QB for several weeks but still won the East with Mauk. Will Georgia continue to underachieve under Smart?

No reason why tFlagship should go nearly a decade without winning the West. I expect that to reverse course sooner than later.

By overachieved you mean never doing shite, then when they finally catch a break by the rest of their division sucking balls, they get blown out in the sec title game?

Georgia has struggled with old man football lately, don't play defense, and can't run the ball with much success

Georgia let a gay Missouri defensive lineman win SEC defensive player of the year. Who had a better defense last year in the SEC?

You know your football program is terrible when you say you've overachieved and still don't have a Natty to show for it

UGA for sure. The talent, location and history and they've produced 1 title.

They had the number 1 pass defense in the country last season. Georgia always as a solid defense. You scored 20 points on them in 2012, 0 in 2014 and 6 last season. I'd be worrying about your god awful offense before I'd be worrying about UGA's defense. Georgia actually brings something to the conference

LSU seems to be staking a claim to being a consistent underachiever as of late

South Carolina. They're 68th in winning percentage during the AP era despite having tremendous fan support in one of the most fertile states for football recruiting in the entire country. They should be a better program than Arkansas and Ole Miss and Missouri but they aren't.

Noticed you conveniently decided to leave off the 41 in 2013

LSU won the SEC in 2003, 2007 and 2011 plus the big one in 2003 and 2007. You can't compare their underachieving to uga. As an Auburn fan I have longed worried someone was going to wake up uga. I don't know that Smart is the man, but he certainly watched Saban do it at bama.

Missouri is one of the 20 most populated states in the country with 2 major metropolitan areas and yet your football program can't seem to win dick.

And Missouri used to be an even BIGGER state in relation to the rest of the country. And still, nothing.

1950 - #12
1960 - #13
1970 - #13
1980 - #15
1990 - #15
2000 - #17
2010 - #18

Seems like an underachiever to me.
