This game could very well reach 100 by the end of the 3rd quarter.

I'm putting money on the 1st half over, should probably be around 38 by kickoff. Both teams should have that by early 2nd quarter.

Only one I feel good about. Take bama and the over. They will be looking to roll up points after a few concerns about the offense in the opener.

Actually, Bama tends to slop around in these kinds of games and experiment with things (probably the passing game in the first half of this game). Generally spend the second half running out the clock with the #2 QB. For whatever people think of Saban, he doesn't run it up like the Oregon's and Baylor's have typically done over the last decade against these kinds of opponents. Bama tends to not cover often in games like this at home after a big game. It's all about experimenting on the things we're weaker at for Saban.

I think ppl are putting too much stock into what they saw on the field for both teams last week. Mizzou put up those same numbers against FCS teams last year. They put up good numbers against us last year. Lock had over 300 yds passing, they had 470ish total yards. But they only put up 21 points.

Defense wise we threw the ball all over them like we should this year. Bentley completed almost 79% of his passes against them. Dowdle had about 150 yards rushing and we only put up 31 points.

Could the over be accomplished? yes. but I don't know that it is as likely as everyone is making it out to be.

This.

Bama will handle Fresno easily, but they don't try to blow people out.

When I saw the spread at 43.5 I was like "Damn!"

I'll take that bet anyday.

Take the under on AU/Clemson. Both defenses will keep this low scoring. But Clemson does cover.

Maybe, but Bama doesn't really have a history of rolling up huge numbers in these non-power 5 games. It's a hard one to predict. I would love to see Saban and Daboll have Hurts throw, throw, and throw some more to get some rhythm and confidence with him and the receivers. I also expect Tua to play here. It's hard to say. On the one hand I expect the Bama offense to be working on things the whole game and not be content to just sit on the ball the whole second half with a comfortable lead. In that sense I could see a Bama cover. On the other hand, if they are using this to work on things/get Tua some game time, then I could see the offense struggling at times as well. I'd stay away from this bet.

most confident that Mizzou and USCe will be over, and that Auburn and Clemson will be under, if the game was later in the year, I would like the over, but not the second game and neither qb has a lot of experience
