What next for Chavis?

Long time viewer, first time poster.
With Sumlin's days numbered, maybe down to the teens. Does the next A&M coach retain Chavis and if not, where does he go that fits his style?
Honestly one of the best places for him would be Texas Tech, Texas, wUSC, Georgia, or UNC. He wants to go somewhere where offense is the priority and then he can at least attempt magic on a defense, KK has the offense that Chavis wants but KK is awful about finding a good defensive coach and recruits. Or Texas where he would actually have quality linebackers(not to mention the Aggie melt would be glorious). Or Southern Cal/Georgia which each need a HC to harvest the talent correctly. And finally UNC because the way they play football is appealing. They fast.

He has a team of lawyers poring over his contract looking for a way out. It's how he does business.

He could be the (i)HC. He can't do any worse with the offense than what happened this year.

Hitched his wagon to the wrong saddle. Probably retirement or replacing a DC in the sec next year that moves on

We are paying him head coach money with a head coach contract.

All A&M needs to do is alter the contract a bit and Chavis is the head coach.

My prediction is that Chavis leaves Texas for Hollywood, to star in the remake of "Cannon". A crime drama from the 1970's.

Chavis made it pretty well known during his time at LSU, while being asked for his interest in several HC opportunities, that he had no desire to be a HC. Not stated clearly was that his age was a factor; that & his family have never moved with him, to College Station or B.Rouge.

Chavis is a bad arse. He can go anywhere he wants. He did a better job cleaning up TAMU that Muschamp did at AU. Mustapm'ed actually had worse #s but Chavis #s were a lot better than the previous year.

I think his deal at A&M was guaranteed (i.e. no Sumlin clause), so he's going to take his $1.5M per year (or a nice buyout) until it runs out and retire and take it to the house. Can't say I blame him.

His defenses will continue to get run over by terrible LSU offenses

It's a reference to the A&M obsession with Texas. You guys built a bonfire you want to destroy them so badly. CtFD

damn, TexAgs5 knew there was something else that could be played with to reflect the college he roots for while attending Blinn
When I refer to what's next for Chavis. I was thinking what would be best for what he's trying to do with a defense that would potentially open. I never saw him leaving the south/southeast United States
