Other than the obvious in-state sister kissing thing.
What are some of the things that are continually brought up in arguments among the fanbases?
:01 and kick six?
Cam's dirty recruitment?
Bama's dirty recruitment flipping commits?
National Championship count?
Probation counts?
Whoever won the last one?
For Bama/Aubie fans, what about the rivalry gets you heated the most?

Bama plays for championships and Auburn plays to beat us. They win a lot of close ones. We win more and with a lot of skull fricking blowouts like this year.

In most cases we don't bring up stuff... we can't really... at most it's snide comments and quick hidden jabs.
You ever have to go to thanksgiving with your family and face opposing rivals... then see them again at Christmas after the game?
Do you work with lots of people that want to see your team lose every game?
People on here have names like TigerinBamaland (as in lsu tiger)... etc... Auburn and Bama fans all live in Ironbowlland... and we deal with, work with, and associate with each other daily.

I doubt you get the responses you are touching yourself thinking about. I would imagine most Auburn and Alabama fans would just tell you to frick off and enjoy watching something most fans wish they had. A pure hatred.

It's an instate rivalry. Just imagine if L5U was in Arkansas. Now imagine L5U being worth a shite from time to time. It's like that.

Been to 3 Iron Bowls in Auburn and have never spent one penny in Auburn. It was difficult to plan to go there and NOT spend any money but a group of 6 did it once and two groups of 4 did it twice. We executed all three trips without having to spend one dime in Lee County. Bama won 2 of those games in 09 and 11.
I hated the town, the stadium, and everything about Lee County, the city of Auburn, and Auburns campus. It's cheap and second rate.

Having lived in Bama, I'd compare it to a sibling rivalry..Bama being the older and stronger brother of course
