Well we already had Reed and he's horrible. We also added two transfers that are pretty good. I'd imagine they'd count too.

But you also lost a 5* and 2 4* players. LSU improved their talent level but not as much as Auburn did.

I dont know why they had Reed in the 2015 class I just looked at, but regardless, Auburn added some decent depth.

Hey, I forgot when UK was wrecking shite in the SEC and not paying any attention, but how did Auburn and aTm do against the mighty Jonny Jones Tigers this past season with less talent?

I'm saying you are crazy for saying that Auburn added more talent than LSU. Auburn fans would even agree and say LSU added more talent than Auburn.

Wtf are you arguing?

He never said that. He said Auburn upgraded their talent level more than LSU did. Why is that so confusing? LSU had a good team last year. We didn't.

Don't forget Canty who had to sit out last year. Pearl said he was the best player at practice last year.

I literally never said that. It would be a retarded statement. I said the talent gap between the 2 teams shrank and it did. You still have more talent and you signed better talent but replacing actual good players gives you less room for growth than we did replacing a bunch of Barbee scrubs and KT. It's what I've been arguing this whole time.

okay, regardless of how you want to word that, Auburn lost their best player and so did LSU.

I see what you are trying to say now, but that's dumb logic. You say that as if Auburn added studs to their team this year. You really didn't add anybody that is going to come in and improve yall's talent significantly. Auburn will be better this year, no doubt, but improving talent as a whole, thats arugable. LSU has 2-3 potential first rounders.
Bowers and Mason are not at the talent level as our best players.

bottom line, I don't agree with this.

Agree to disagree.

Edit: To explain my point, we lost Martin and Mickey. Our other 4* NEVER played. We replaced Martin and Mickey with Victor and Simmons (both 5* talent.)

We also added Blakeney(future first rounder) and Sampson, who is also better than any talent you added.

You lost KT, and didnt even replace him with anybody at the same calibar. That is the point I'm trying to make.

Uh, yes we did. Losing Harrell hurt, but we're getting an upgrade at every other position and adding depth. We had a PG playing the 4 at times last year. We also had Bowers playing the 5. We probably had the most undersized roster in the country last year.

The Auburn loss was embarrassing, sure. However, let's try not to be too hyperbolic and act like LSU was loaded while A&M had nothing.

LSU more or less seemed to have an effort problem against inferior opponents. When you have 4 starters averaging 33-35 minutes a game, it's not outrageous to suggest that LSU can't exactly play at an intensity level that Kentucky can with its depth. Oh, and let's conveniently ignore Jordan Mickey was injured all of conference play, along with our two freshmen post players. No big deal

Anyways, Kentucky has to be the favorite with its depth, but if Epps and Victor can play good ball, LSU could sneak up and win the conference.

We added the number #1 JuCo in the country in TJ Dunans, the number #61 and #66 player in the country in Spencer and Purifoy, the 2013-14 MAC rookie of the year in Kareem Canty(sat out last season) and graduate transfer Tyler Harris who averaged 10 and 4 for NCAA tourney team Providence.

This argument is done.
I slipped up by misunderstanding what you meant by "added more talent." And it got turned into something else.
We shall see how Auburn does. Of course you will be better, but ive juat never heard someone argue and say, even though you added more talent and have a better team, our talent as a whole got better than yours because we were a worse team. Thats dumb

Fair enough. For the record I love both Simmons and Blakeney. I've seen them both play and they are both program changers.
