I know this might be asking too much but does UGA have a centerfield camera, and multiple cameras?

Or is it just a behind home plate camera?

Thanks to anyone who may know.

The reason i ask is im afraid it isnt. I watched them one time this year and it was just like bama's.

But maybe they just didnt have the CF cam that game.

yea I'm pretty sure they have standard coverage as if it was on SECN.

Bama is the only school I've seen that only has one camera.

I just pulled up the Saturday Vandy game and they do not have a CF camera.

I bet Fresno State has a better setup than that.

Is it that you think a minor league park doesn't know how to setup cameras, that Hoover specifially does not allow more than one camera, or that you think Hoover isn't in Alabama, or some other fourth option?

Just by way of comparison, LSU played at Zephyr field and had a full compliment of cameras and a tv announce team (not a radio team, like the limp combination of Chris Stewart and his yes man). Hell, LSU played at Tulane's stadium and had a full compliment of cameras and a real announce team. No excuse. Not even "Hoover."

Yup. If it's just them (not SECN or ESPNU), then you're stuck with the one camera. Good luck.

Getting the draw on playing in some funky stadiums this year.

Luckily the Missouri series is at Alex Box.

This hasn't been an issue at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in the past, and won't be next year. So I'm not sure why this continues to be blamed on Alabama. What other conclusion is there?

Then prepare to mute it and listen to your radio guy. One of our games there was just the local Georgia radio feed piped over the one camera.

It was aggravating that bama didnt put something in place for this year but i give them a pass.

It's going to suck watching the UGA series like this.

I'd rather listen to the UGA guy than Hawthorne.

More often than not it's the two cameras like you normally see. Very rarely is it only the one camera, and usually that's only for ho-hum midweek games.

Plus, it's looking like the series may be a wash. 60, 90 and 80 percent chances of rain for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively, with thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday.

well it was one camera for Vandy. Certainly not a ho-hum midweek game.

But that is good to hear that there may be a chance of better coverage.

LSU was 90%, 90%, and 90% and they found a way to get them in. It probably wont be a wash. They'll sneak at least 2 in.
