If you had to pick one thing that will determine your success this year, what is it (outside of injuries, luck, etc.)?

For Auburn, I think it is whether or not Gus derps the first six weeks of the season. Most would say QB play, but it will be average at least, even if Stidham is a bust (White would take over). Gus has screwed around for six weeks every year he's been at Auburn, both as OC and HC.

Other teams:
Alabama: replacing defensive stars
LSU: QB play (last 10 years)
Arky: OL
MSU: consistency on defense
OM: everything on defense
Aggy: limiting big plays

UGA: Eason's growth
UF: is Zaire the guy?
UT: inexperience
UK: taking the next step
USCe: Is Bentley for real?
Mizzou: can Odom grow as a HC
Vandy: Shurmur's consistency

Arkansas will be Defense (scheme). We are moving to a 3-4. How well we adjust will go a long way in determining the success of our season. Although, I'm hoping it can't be worse than last season.

LSU: QB play
That applies to every football team every year. Wanna put a little more thought into it?

Then what would LSU (Or Vandy since their key was QB play too) be more worried about? LSU is a much more talented team than Vandy, but both have lots of really good pieces relatively without other glaring holes. RB? Check for both. Defense? Very solid at worst. WR? Talented groups who could produce with good QB play. QB is the most important position on the field, but some teams have good QB play but are held back by other issues. A team like LSU is sooo close to being a serious contender.

Nailed it for State. If State's D can be just in the middle of the pack then it could be a good season

Absolutely. We can put a few 5 stars in the defensive lineup to replace what we lost to the draft and we may have the best secondary in the SEC. If Hurts can be just average throwing the football then we will win another one.

UGA: Offensive line

FIFY. This is a topic that has been discussed ad nauseum on the UGA board. The OL was atrocious for a lot of last season.

If the OL improves, Eason will improve. He spent a lot of last season running for his life and/or on his back.

Meh, we do that every year. Like others have said if Hurts has progressed as a passer, he (and Alabama) are going to be unstoppable.

Whether or not the NCAA rips us a new arsehole or goes easy on us.

Oh and defense too.

Whoever makes it through the late season injury bug the best.

Last years Ole Miss team is a good example.

There are so many flaws with this year's team that there isn't one thing that can guarantee a successful season.

-Poor coaching
-No starting QB has been announced (they all performed poorly in the spring game)
-Lack of production in the front seven
-Breaking in two new tackles
