What is Georgia's path to the title? I don't see it.

And believe me, I wish I did. I really like Richt and hope he wins it all this year.
But looking at the polls I think he won't get a shot. Look who is ahead of 1-loss Georgia...Lots of undefeated teams and only a few of them play each other. So by December first the polls could plausibly look like...
-undefeated Bama
-undefeated Oregon/Stanford winner
-undefeated FSU/Clemson winner
-undefeated Ohio State
-undefeated Louisville
-undefeated Oklahoma
And after champ week that list won't change that much (minus Alabama presumably losing to GA)
I know all the talk about upsets always happen, but is Ohio State or Oregon losing? Wouldn't the committee vote an undefeated Louisville or OU over a 1-loss Georgia? What if FSU beats Clemson? Will a 1-loss Clemson be budged out by the 1-loss Georgia team they beat?
It just seems like this of all ayers is a time that a 1-loss SEC Champ game winner will get left out and we are stuck with a big-something snooze fest.

If Alabama goes undefeated, they'll have a shot in the SECCG (assuming they win out).
As for the others.... at most, 3 will be undefeated. If two of them are from that list and not named Louisville, those two will be in the championship game over any 1-loss SEC champion.

Really? I can see the committee going OU-Ohio State or OU-Oregon if those are undefeated just to screw the sec

Well, since our starters are dropping like flies on O and our D is poo so far this year I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Louisville? Yes
Oklahoma? Not a chance

All UGA can do is win their games.
The path may open it, or it may not, no way of knowing.
I'm of the opinion that this year a 1 loss team ain't getting in most likely, so the SEC's streak is on thin ice.

It's not difficult to comprehend(although difficult of it actually aligning itself)
-Georgia wins out and beats Alabama in the SECCG
-Clemson beats FSU
-Clemson clemsons
-tOSU loses to Michigan or B1G Championship or shits the bed
-Stanford/Oregon winner somehow lose
Now one of these teams can be undefeated but we need 5 teams to lose(2 losses are guaranteed with ACC and P12 teams).
12-1 Georgia fresh off a victory over Bama will go over Oklahoma or Louisville. Should go over tOSU but voters like them for some reason.

It's pretty simple to me.
If 2 of the teams currently ranked above us are undefeated, we aren't going. If there's only 1 undefeated, we are going. Lousiville is not a threat.

If Florida only has 1-loss going into Jacksonville and we beat an undefeated Alabama team, Ohio State won't be either.
Even with a loss, Ohio State's season doesn't even come close to what UGA would have done going into the SECCG, let alone with a win in Atlanta.

Maybe Louisville, but not an undefeated Oklahoma. No matter how crappy their schedule is an undefeated OU goes over 1 loss SEC.

Yeah I mean the odds aren't great, but it's damn sure not impossible.
After 07 when undefeated pitt knocked off #2 WV, and another year when a crappy UCLA team beat #1 or #2 USC, or Iowa State letting bama back in to the title game...I've learned that crazy things can happen at the end of the year with titles on the line.

In Jerry Palm's BCS projections today, he only has them 2 spots higher than us. Our schedule the rest of the way will be tougher than theirs.
