I know LSU will be horrible, but what are your teams looking like?

I have not followed offseason stuff at all. I expect Kentucky to be good again, but beyond them, who are the contenders? The up and comers? Who do we think will make the NCAA tournament?

It's October, so I was curious.

State, Bama, and Auburn had decent recruiting classes. Not sure they'll be able to compete quite yet, but Howland, Johnson, and Pearl appear to all be great hires.

A&M lost a lot of talent, especially at the guard position, but they have some young studs. Tyler Davis will be in the running for POY IMO. I expect DJ Hogg, Gilder, and Trocha-Morelas (sp?) to have big years as well.

UK is still the class of the conference, but it may take a while for their talented freshmen to gel. They still have some really solid returning players in Isaiah Briscoe and Derek Willis, but I also expect guys like Bam Adebayo, Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox to come in and make big impacts right away.

I think UGA should be decent with JJ Frazier and Yante Maten leading the way, but I think we need our younger players to develop greatly in order to compete with the best in the conference.

Mizzou will be trash again.

UT, LSU, and SC lost a lot of talent so it may be tough for them to recover from that.

Vandy and UF should be decent.

Not really sure about anyone else. Thank the Lord Stefan Moody is gone though.

Without Moody I don't have very high expectations.

We are a middle of the pack team this year unless we can gel sooner than expected. Staying healthy is also a big key because we only have 2 true low post players on the roster. I think NIT with an outside shot at making the tourney is realistic.
