What is an acceptable response when an old man says "roll tide" or "war eagle" to you?

This happens all of the time when Im in Alabama for a project and happen to be wearing an LSU hat or shirt.
I usually just laugh, or say " We are going to get you this year". I really don't feel like saying "Go Tigers" every time.
What do you guys say?

They only say that because lsu jerseys seem to. E the only clothing you lsu fans wear. I have. Ever seen another fan base wear their jerseys at the beach while in vacation. Try buying a button down or Polo and you won't get bullied so much.

Yeah I don't have any experience with "Roll Tide" or "War Eagle" but whenever "Go Tigers" is screamed my direction my knee jerk reaction is "Go frick yourself"

I was in NYC and said "Roll Tide" to a guy in an Auburn hat. Once he found out I was also from Alabama, we were like long lost brothers. I don't know how long we wound up talking.

I have like 10 LSU T-shirts i have gotten for gifts over the year. Now Im not allowd to wear one at the beach? Where am I allowd to wear them?

If you're a grown man, I'd simply consider taking it as a helpful reminder that I'm wearing sports memorabilia too often.

I usually say i want fries with that, or I want fire sauce with that, or maybe I need more hot sauce, or can i get a refill... something along those lines

Well in Alabama we just say War Eagle or Roll Tide back so try one of those
