What if Tunsil orchestrated all of this?

What if he had a bone to pick with the OM AD, and knew that he had the means to bring them down? Or at the very least, make them sweat a little bit.
All of this has little to no impact on Tunsil. He went 13th over all, and will make 10s of millions of dollars over the course of his career.
Roger Goodell has basically said that he DNGAF. No one in the media is slamming Tunsil.
There is only one loser in all of this.

Yes. He caused himself to lose about 7 million a year just to bring ole miss down.

Then I would expect WAY more text screenshots from LT to coaches about getting paid.

Does a prospect really lose 7 million a year falling from 8 or 9 to 13?
I don't really keep up with that stuff.

This has to be one of the dumbest OPs I've ever read.

Last year number 6 made 20million.
13 made about 12 million.
13 made about 12 million.

It just seems plausible to me.
Maybe OM wasn't paying him enough? Maybe the payments weren't being made on time?

If he wanted to bring them down he would have waited until after he was drafted to do it.
Then he goes high, signs a high dollar contract, and brings down OM.
What happened cost him millions of dollars and embarrassed him on one of the biggest stages in football.

He potentially could have earned anywhere between 7-12M more. Your theory isn't very well thought out

Enough for him to knowingly give up millions of dollars?
That doesn't seem plausible to me.

We don't really even know that this hurt his draft position.
There were plenty of reports out of Nashville, well before the draft, that the Titans preferred Conklin.

The man was not the least bit upset last night. In fact, he was glowing.

What's more plausible, that Tunsil torpedoed himself just to take down Ole Miss? Or that Tennessee Jed has shite for brains?
I have my suspicions.

I mean, ESPN is posting articles right now saying that this probably had little to no impact on where he was drafted.

But the truth of Tunsil's prospects began leaking earlier this week, when reports suggested some teams preferred Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley. Tunsil had a checkered career at Ole Miss, having never finished a season because of either injury or suspension, and this week he was sued by his stepfather because of an incident that occurred last summer.
I don't think we can separate what happened on Thursday night with the rest of Tunsil's background. It might have tipped the scales in some cases, but it is difficult to believe that evidence of recreational drug use alone would be enough to change a draft decision that was months in the making.
The Baltimore Ravens drafted Stanley at No. 6 overall, citing character as part of their decision-making process, and the Tennessee Titans traded up to get Michigan State's Jack Conklin at No. 8. Would the Ravens have taken Tunsil were it not for the video? I strongly suspect the answer is no. The same goes for the Titans. This was a pileup of issues, not simply one that played out in real time on social media 13 minutes before the draft began.
