No titles period. Even the 2 wins over Alabama got you nothing championship wise. BAMA won the SEC both those years.

How do you have a losing SEC record and think it was a good run? Only Ole Miss thinks like this.

The sad thing is State is 19-18 over the same period. Yes, State has more SEC wins than OM during the Freeze glory years. That's a terrible return on an investment.

He's about to be 19-19.

The coach he plays this weekend is 21-17

Besides Saban, I think most SEC coaches have around a .500 SEC winning record or worse.

I don't know if you know this or not, but the SEC and especially the SEC West is fricking tough.

18-19 not bad.

And obviously forget that Mullen had a few year head start on building his program.

This can not be repeated often enough.

Whats even more amazing is that Freezus is revered as the bestest evar while Mullen is starting to feel some pressure.

also Mullen has yet to lose to Bert.

While recruiting the 5stars and giving compensation, he has failed to comprehend the team needs. Paying for top ranked guys dosnt help anything when they are standing beside 2 star guys on the practice field. The gap between their prize horses and the practice mules are too great. In order to have a balanced SEC team, you must be at least 2 deep with 3stars or more in every position. UM tried to bank on 3 5star guys to carry a program...............to no prevail. Sad stuff.

It means that Ole Miss cheated to the highest degree and now facing the death penalty with nothing to show for all that money spent.

Think about that for a minute. They bought top players from all over the country, nothing to show for it and now facing the death penalty. Talk about karma. They deserve it for all their talk of being "elites" and being the "Harvard" of the south etc etc.

Remember several years ago and Ole Miss fans were on here talking smack how great they were and the rest of the conference just needs to deal with it? The melt will be real.

Freeze is 3-1 vs Mullen and about to be 4-1. He's one play away from already being 4-0.

When we get slapped on the wrist by the NCAA, the melt in Starkville will go nuclear. Rosebowl and Coach might very well off themselves as they discover that what they spent every waking second on for the last few years was all for nothing. The bulk of your fanbase would rather us get the death penalty than their own team to succeed in football. Further evidenced by the rednecks coming out of the woodwork in full force for this thread and who haven't chimed in on anything MSU related in months.
