And Clemson fans never watch SEC games. Interesting idea you got going there. Email ESPN about it. I'm going to exit this conversation because you're dumb. Good luck!
nothing you said actually addresses my point. My point is Clemson would get more attention to the SEC than Mizzouri would. More people watching. Ppl see Mizzou at a basketball school even though that is somewhat tenuous too. lol

Clemson would bring better tv ratings nationally
Bring some data to this conversation. I'm really interested in why you think this is true. Also, you still are ignorant about the SEC contract with ESPN and why that contract would immediately remove Clem from any expansion discussion.

The Clemson dude arguing about National TV ratings is priceless...priceless.
The answer to the question is simple.
What has Missouri actually brought to the SEC?
About 19 million in extra Cable Subscribers, where as Clemson would have brought zero new cable subscribers based on the current landscape. To Florida's defense they bring more to the table than Mizzou.

lol, I'm not lobbying for Clemson to join SEC. Being in ACC helps Clemson recruit the northeast with the 3 northeast programs now. We have a Clemson sign up in Times Square in NYC now.
Clemson has a better football brand than Mizzou does. no real football fan will dispute this. thus a Clemson vs SEC team game has more national appeal, which menans more people watching.

You keep talking but you still don't get it.

Most people in America couldn't even find Clemson on a map, or hell even tell you what state it's in.

Looks like pretty equivalent brands to me.

If you don't understand why Mizzou is better for the SEC than Clem, I don't know what to tell you.
That rock on your slope seems to be just like your brain.

lol, ok. I don't care about conference realignment. there are some ppl obsessed over it. ACC is the right conference for Clemson, I like playing the teams we play. :)

I'm not dissing MIzzou. Clemson just seen as more of a football school.

I'm sure you enjoy that cake walk as much as FSU does.
I do agree it's the best place for Clem. So, there's that.

I think that is pretty cool actually. ;)
NJ and Mass send a lot of college kids to Clemson every year. Two of the most represented states at Clemson. so some ppl figure out where it is. ;)

You're talking to someone who thinks Clemson is an elite program and SEC fans are just haters who won't admit it.
He's insane.

Clemson is elite, meaning people have expecations for it, which is why 'CLemsoning" meme was started. When sorry programs lose games, nobody talks about it because it isn't expected they should win games.
Clemson rarely has a losing season and goes to a decent bowl almost every year.

Back out of the conversation then. Clearly you have no business discussing why Clem wouldn't be helpful to the SEC. We don't take one way streets.

Last post.
The difference in TV ratings from an average Clemson game versus an average Missouri game is actually quite small. For instance, for 2013, the average Mizzou game garnered a 1.6 rating while the average Clemson game got a 1.8. That's a difference of a couple hundred thousand people.
But in realignment world, Missouri has 6M people outside the SEC footprint which brings millions of dollars in additional revenue to the SEC every month. Clemson, inside the SEC footprint, would have brought 0 new dollars in cable money every month.
So, while a Clemson game might have a slightly larger audience on average, their presence in the SEC would not result in the huge increase in TV revenues which A&M and, to a lesser extent, Mizzou have provided to the SEC.

Tyler Durden was also a Mizzou student, so the SEC has that now too
