What has happened to MSU after the final series

in the regular season? Has the pitching really just not been able to keep up with the higher quality trams later on the schedule? This isn't a troll attempt. I'm just wondering what is going on with them. That regional is stacked though, hell, it could've been USM and MSU in the elimination game tomorrow. Crazy to think about.

Thanks for letting down the rest of the SEC...

With the injuries they have, they can pull off a 3 game series against anyone. Put them in a tournament and it's a whole different story.

We've lost 8 of the past 10. This is a team that overachieved all season. We should have struggles to get to Hoover yet we were in first place with two weekends to go.
Lost 12 off last years SEC championship team to the draft. Then 9 injuries and 2 dumbasses in the fall and early part of the season. 8 of those 11 were pitchers.
We didn't even have a full travel roster. It finally caught up with us. Not making excuses. Just stating this teams record was much better than the team.
The SEC Tournament was a microcosm of our season. Two wins over teams that won series from us, then a dominant seven inning performance against Florida, only to give up 11 runs in the eighth. Then having to pitch position players in the elimination game to get through.

Exactly this. I would've always been surprised if we were still playing come Super Regional time. Even if we hosted.

Nah, it was our former pitching coach that a arky took from us. They already have three TJs, look for them to have more next year.

I guess it could, 11 of Cohen's players were drafted last year, we need more of that kind of recruiting!

Oh we're keeping up! We are dropping 55M on a new stadium. Our hiring of Ron Polk and our building of present stadium forced LSU to hire Skip Bertman and upgrade the Little Box.
Now what ya'll gonna do?

And with Alabama's recent hire, he has three former assistants at the helm in the SEC. Cohen is not the problem.

I mean they're allegedly building a new stadium.
Been hearing about that shite since 2014. Mud Dogs gunna Mud Dog.

half of our pitchers are out with injury. The fact we won as many series as we did this surprised a lot of the fan base I think
