Always go to the AU/LSU game in BR. Love going there. Fun crowd that knows how to have a good time. Tailgate food is amazing. No piss balloons to this point.

Athens in a landslide

Outside of Oxford I'd have to agree with Athens strictly due to some fond memories. It includes post divorce road trip, free tickets, homecoming, bumping into a former Marine Infantry Officer while waiting on a table, he inviting us to join his table, introducing us to his daughter & sorority sisters, insisting not only on paying for our meal but that his daughter & friends take us out that night and a fantastic post divorce frick session. By golly I love Athens!

Oxford is fun once a year for two days but I could never live there.

The medical care there is subpar. I know someone who got pneumonia and had to eventually fly back to Texas because the doctors in Oxford sucked balls.

Dude what frick do you know about medical care let alone the hospitals in Mississippi? Let me fill you in a bit. Any small rural hospital in America will not compare to the standards you find in a metro area! Do you know anything about the hospital in Oxford...strike that it is obvious you know little to nothing about anything you blather on about so be like a teenager and just STFU!

Madison. Badgers, broads and booze make for a great weekend.

Just going by ones I've been to in the last few years...

Chapel Hill is an excellent college town. It should be near the top of any list. Ann Arbor has some good points, but is filled with Yankees. Lots of really horrible Yankees. Amherst is a lovely town even if it's filled with even more Yankees than Ann Arbor. I never had a bad experience in Athens, Oxford, or Tuscaloosa, unlike certain other "college towns" in the SEC that will go nameless and hopefully forgotten by future generations. And Lexington is often overlooked, even by SEC fans.

Also receiving votes (from me): Ames, IA and Charlottesville, VA. Both quite nice as college towns go. East Lansing gets a nod from me too because Michigan State fans are absolutely great people to hang out with even if the town itself is pretty meh.

You are basing this off of what? Your vast experience in healthcare where you have traveled across the United States observing many different facilities of size and stature? Didn't think so. By the way do you know what Healthcare Network the hospital in Oxford is part of?

Win or lose, I've never had a bad time in BR. And that includes having a "hotel manager" in a white silk sweatsuit pull out a nickel plated 45 and ask us to leave. That was on a 2 RV bachelor party to Biloxi, NO, then on to BR where UGA defeated the #6 Bengal tigers.

Had a great RV trip to ND as well.

Liked Boulder a lot but not for the football scene...in fairness they sucked and we lost.

My conclusion is any trip that includes RV's is gonna work out fine.

PS- like Athens cause I can spit on opposing fans and push kids down stairwells with no recourse.

I'm basing it off a doctor misdiagnosing pneumonia and a kid flying back to Dallas to see his hometown doctor and missing a week of class.

Why are you so butthurt?

Because you have no fricking clue what you are talking about and the fact that a misdiagnosis can and does happen any where to include highly rated facilities in metropolitan institutions. You don't think the same thing can and does happen in Dallas? You know 2nd hand information of one story and then make a blanket statement. Can you say ignorant! So let's sum it up, you don't work in healthcare, know nothing about Mississippi healthcare, the hospital nor the physicians in question and make generalizations based upon 2nd hand information. You sir (and I use that term loosely) are a fricking ignorant troll. So shut your fricking piehole before spewing some more bullshite!
