Florida doesn't get in that year if Auburn doesn't get the snub. Couldn't snub the SEC twice in such a small window of time.

Hell Auburn BEAT that UF team, too.

Auburn has had a lot of success in the modern cfb era. Hard to argue.

They won the 2011 BCS title and were a play away from winning it again in 2014. It's not like they're chopped liver.

They also got royally screwed in 2004 though I don't think they would have beat USC anyway. But you play the games for a reason.

Either way, I am fine with any fan base claiming the AP, UPI, Coaches, BCS, and playoff championships. Those are all universally accepted. And however many you wanna give us credit for, it's still more than anyone else so that's cool, too.

My signature line is a tongue-in-cheek response to people who claim every championship anyone has ever given Alabama a trophy (if the university actually did, the number of titles would be over 20).

That said, my preference is pre-BCS to count AP and UPI, then the BCS titles, and now the playoff titles.
Interesting note - Alabama will now forever be the team with the most BCS titles, as winning the 2012 title put us at 3. Florida, FSU, and LSU each have 2.

Until the 2011 Bama & LSU defenses, the 2004 Auburn D was one of the best I'd ever seen.

I think USC-Auburn would have been a great game. Let's not forget that Jason Campbell was pretty efficient for Auburn that year.

What has Auburn really ever accomplished for their fan base to be so arrogant?
Seems to me that the auburn posters are the most arrogant on this site outside of Bama fans. But Bama has a go-zillion championships. So they got a right.

Auburn has one in football and none in anything else. They are one bought player away from being ole miss.

Clearly, you are overlooking all those tremendous swimming and diving championships from decades past.

Now if the NCAA gave out titles for cheating, Auburn would be a dynasty.
There isn't a single player on an SEC roster who was alive the last time AU's football program was on probation.

Numerous SEC titles and major bowl victories.

Auburn is not a blue blood, but a very, very solid program historically.

As an AU fan, Every time I come to this board I feel like Donald Trump surrounded by the MSM. You idiots have your own tainted reality.

Cams investigation like the Russia investigation, HBO, NyTimes, all the usual suspects. A bug in the matrix?
