I wouldn't say we have an arrogant fanbase though. We have a bit of a persecution complex, though not as strong as LSU's.

Florida doesn't get in that year if Auburn doesn't get the snub. Couldn't snub the SEC twice in such a small window of time. Michigan was believed to be the better team despite Florida getting the nod thanks to Auburn.

I moved to AL in 83 and wasn't an Bama fan at the time, so I don't know about the 83 team, but from what has been posted it seems they got jobbed that year. I had a very good friend (we won state HSFB our SR year together) playing on their 93 team, wish they were not on probation that year as I would have liked to see him win an NC.
04- USC was the best team that year, Au was really good.

We are also tied with Florida for most Heisman winners in the SEC with 3, which is also tied for 3rd best in the nation.

Dude you have no clue what youre talking about. Your numbers are even wrong. If youre going to make an argument, at least make sure your facts are straight. Idk why they're so arrogant though. I've never really thought about it and didn't see them as being that. Just die-hard fans of their team. To say they're one title away from being ole miss is just silly though.
